There are two active substances at once: magaldrate and simeticone.

Magaldrate is a component that neutralizes hydrochloric acid in the stomach, envelops the gastric mucosa and binds aggressive bile acids. Magaldrate has a "smart" step-by–step effect depending on the level of acidity, thanks to its special lattice-layered structure - it stably maintains the pH in the stomach in the therapeutically optimal range (pH 3-5).

Simetikon is a substance that has a carminative effect, destroying/collapsing gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines.

Thanks to this combination of active substances, Antareit® helps not only with symptoms associated with the aggressive action of hydrochloric acid on the mucous membrane of the stomach and esophagus (heartburn, acid belching, stomach pain), but also with flatulence.

Antacid with additional therapeutic effects

Antacid – neutralizes hydrochloric acid

Adsorbing – binds bile acids that damage the mucous membrane of the stomach and esophagus

Cytoprotective – increases the resistance of the gastric mucosa to the action of damaging factors

Carminative – eliminates excess gas in the gastrointestinal tract

Enveloping – creates a protective film on the gastric mucosa
